MEET THE SCIENCE PARTY!
We are 14 scientists (including 9 students) from 5 countries and 9 institutions across the globe!
Throughout the cruise we will be highlighting each of our scientists, members of the crew, technicians and protected species observers on board.
We'll be telling you who they are, what they hope to achieve on the expedition, and why they love studying and working in the marine sciences and geosciences.

FIELD TRIP!
It was the perfect day for a hike up Seattle's local volcanic neighbour where we had some sighting of deer, marmots and lots of chipmunks! It was nice to experience some geology on-land before we ship out for 5 weeks at sea.
